Evgeny Kissin

Evgeny Kissin is a Russian pianist was born in 1971. Extremely precocious, he enters to six years old in a school for the exceptionally gifted children in Moscow. He will be the student of Anna Pavlovna Kantor who will remain his unique and only professor.

Aged only of thirteen years old, he will be in the tour with the Philharmonic orchestra of Moscow and accompanied by this one, he interprets the two Concertos of Chopin. Event marked by the disk recording, with the titled « The Legendary 1984 Moscow Concert ».

The recitals from this very young pianist impresses the musical world by an historic recording of the two piano concertos from Chopin in public in the same evening in 1984. This performance of pianist will remain engraved in its biography as the global discovery of a new prodigy of the piano.
